Description
“A common misconception exists that Kansas is a vast plain of emptiness stretching from somewhere west of St. Louis to the Rocky Mountains – traversable only by a 423-mile ribbon of interstate highway and preferably at night. In fact, Kansas offers a wide variety of landscapes – the High Plains being just one of 11 distinct geographic regions. It has been our pleasure over the past five years to develop this series of books that are portable, affordable and seek to share the diverse and beautiful landscape that is our home – Kansas.”
