Description
Why This Outrageous Book? This book is about outrage. Our world seems awash in anger, division, and hostility. We need to decide how to respond. This is indeed our moment to learn how to live like Christ amid the shouting, anger, and hatred.
To be sure, there is a lot in this world that is outrage inducing–terrorism, sex trafficking and exploitation, systemic racism, the opioid crisis . . . the list goes on.
But this is part of the problem. How do we know when righteous anger has made the turn into unbridled outrage? These questions do not have easy answers.
That’s why I wrote this book: to help Christians think through the unique challenges of this age. I’m encouraged because I’ve witnessed so many Christians bringing their best to build the Kingdom of God.
The age of outrage cannot–and will not–distract us from what is true.
